Final Exam Assignment

You are tasked with making a public service announcement based on a topic that was covered in class this semester. You will work with a group with a minimum of 2 members, but no more than 4 students on this project. Each group will make a video PSA to share. This project is worth 200 point towards your final grade in the course. Here are the rules:

1. The goal of the assignment is to educate the public about your topic.

2. All members of the group must have an active role in the production of the PSA. Preferred that all members have a speaking role within the video.

3. The PSA may not be set in a classroom

4. One group member will report to my office no later than 4/24/2018 to draw from a selection of topics. There are no re-draws. What you draw is considered final and the draws are first come first serve.

5. All videos must be more than 4 minutes but no longer than 10 minutes in length.

6. Creativity is important… you will be assessed on keeping your audience engaged.

7. An edited and polished video will be submitted to my email no later than 5:00 pm on May 2, 2018. Submitting through Google Drive is the surefire way that it will go through. Any video submitted after this time will receive a 50% deduction on the final score for the project.

8. Final grades for this project will be the result of a combination of scores assessed from the course professor, peer evaluations completed by your audience, and an average of teamwork evaluations completed by your group members.
